You catch the puppy zooms

so now you run around

the room

Hurdling

like a deer

while all the humans say

" Here Puppy, Here!"

Now all of a sudden,

you stop

dead in your tracks,

then you collapse

upon the floor,

to take a puppy nap.

Tomorrow will be

a new day

more puppy zooms are near,

but for now,

sleep tight my angel,

good night

my puppy dear.
